2. Alternate revenues
To reduce the fundraising needs, you must generate revenues from the early stage of your activity. The goal is to reach the BEP (Break-Even Point) as soon as possible. When your activity requires several months and years of R&D to launch a product, you cannot wait so long to get your financial independence. Your business plan must integrate some short-term offerings such as consulting, training, eBook… allowing your company to educate the market on your futur products and services. It is not the lean start-up approach because we believe it takes time to establish a solid business plan and R&D process cannot be reduced to a set of quick prototyping cycles. We believe in solid manufacturing processes that should live together with offerings to educate and support the market.
